Delete Account — Colonial Coinage

If you no longer want to use Colonial Coinage, you can ask us to delete your account and the personal data linked to it.
Delete your account and data
To request full deletion:
- Email support@colonialcoinage.app
- Send the email from the same address you use to sign in to Colonial Coinage
- Use the subject line: “Delete my account”
For security, we may ask you to confirm that you are the account holder.
When we process your request, we will permanently delete your Colonial Coinage account and its associated personal data, including:
- Your profile (screen name, avatar and bio)
- Your collection data (coins, notes, photos and stats)
- Friends / contacts and messages (where available)
- Clubs membership and club-related activity (where available)
- Marketplace listings and related records (where available)
- Once deletion is complete, your account and collection cannot be restored.
We aim to complete deletion requests as quickly as possible and within 30 days of confirming your identity and request.
If you can’t access your sign-in email
If you no longer have access to the email address linked to your Colonial Coinage account, contact us at support@colonialcoinage.app and explain the situation. We may ask for additional information so we can safely handle your request.
Request partial deletion (without closing your account)
In most cases, you can remove specific information yourself inside the app by using the normal edit or delete options. For example, you can:
- Delete particular coins or photos from your collection
- Remove or change your profile photo and bio
- Leave a club
- Close or remove marketplace listings
- Delete messages or posts where the app provides that option
If you would like specific information removed but want to keep your account open, and you cannot do it yourself (for example you are having technical issues or can’t sign in), you can ask us to help.
To request this:
- Email support@colonialcoinage.app
- Use the subject line: “Partial deletion request”
- Tell us clearly what you would like removed and any privacy concerns you have
We’ll review your request, confirm what can be removed, and proceed accordingly. Where we need to keep certain records for security, abuse prevention or legal reasons, we will explain this.
Backups and analytics
- System backups may continue to exist for up to 30 days after deletion, but are automatically removed in the normal course of system maintenance. These backups are not used for active processing.
- Aggregated, non-personal analytics (for example overall usage totals) are not linked to you and are not removed, as they do not identify individual users.
Creating a new account
You are welcome to reinstall the app or visit the web app and create a new account at any time after deletion. Your previous collection and data will not be restored and you will start again with a new account.
